whats up guys dont know much about k20s if u guy can please help.my friend wants to sell me his k20a2 head i wanted to know what do i need?i want to use my k20a3 block.

first off you'll need k pro which is where most people give up. i don't think it would even be worth the work if you're keeping the crappy A3 block though. might as well splurge and get the full engine imo.

im geting the full engine but he says the block is no good and he says i can use the ECU of the rsx tape s.

you cant. plus i say get just the head and get a k24a1 block. and kpro. should net you around 250 whp with bolt ons but your looking around 2-3 grand

really yea thats to much im poor trying to keep it cheap.

A straight up k24a1 swap is really the best to do on a budget cause if you have no bolt ons and 310 injectors you can just use the ep3 ecu. It will obviously still run a lot better with k pro though, but it's not a necessity

a crv. you'll need the passenger side bracket which is like 35 bucks.

what about using the a3 block with the a2 internals and the a2 head with the rsx ecu? granted your missing the oil squirters but wouldnt you get the correct compression ratio with the a2 internals? if they are good?

LOL!! Why not just keep the a2 block if the internals are already there. Building a motor with random pieces is always going to cost you more then buying a stock one.

I'm pretty sure if the block is bad then the internals are even worse.

never know could be stripped or what not idk bad bearing etc just suggesting
