trans issue... 2002 civic si

ok so i replaced my clutch with the oem replacement kit from exedy, did everything, bled the clutch lines, etc etc. clutch seems nice and firm, but when the car is on and you push the clutch and start to release, about half way you get this screetching, whinning sound, and it wont go into a gear.. never had this issue when replacing a clutch..

You say that you push in the clutch and start to release and it wont go into gear....not very clear...

Are you putting the shifter into gear, releasing the clutch and nothing but noise occurs?, no wheel turning? Clutch disc installed in the proper direction?

sounds like the clutch disk is backwards...
