im ordering a set of rota torques, 15x6.5 +40, 4x100 bolt pattern. would i be able to use my stock lug nuts for them, or do i have to buy new ones? do lug nuts come with the wheels? sorry if this has been answered before.

unless the place where you bought the rims from have some sort of special, they probably won't come with lug nuts.

you should be able to use the stock ones though. they won't look as cool, as say Ray's lugnuts, but they will work in the meantime.

You may be able to use the stock, but it's highly recommend to use aftermarket, conical lug nuts. Since the design of aftermarket wheels require that type of seating, using OEM-style, spherical lugs like what you have now will only make partial contact on your Torques.

You have the top middle, but will need the top left.

uhh haha actually im 17. but i do understand the importance of lug nuts. i just cant justify paying 40 dollars for some nuts. i dont care what they look like, i just want them to work. if they do look rly bad on the car, ill just paint em.

If you keep your oem lugs on an aftermarket wheel have fun replacing your brakes because the wheel fell off and you grinded the entire thing down. Seen it happen. Very funny story too but I'd rather not get into details.

$40 now is saving you $100s down the line. Gorilla/muteki lugs are worth it.
I got my black muteki closed end lug nuts for $40 flat, key included brand new from a shop picked up. They have a lot of colors to choose from. Anyone can steal any wheel, regardless of lug nut price so don't even worry about that. Locking nuts don't make you safe.

I know it seems like everytime someone posts on here about something I fanboi up about T1R stuff but if you're looking for lightweight, without paying the price for titanium and going for great look without fading (coughcoughlikeWORKstuffcoughcough) go with the T1Rs. I got mine from SpeedStarRacing but you can get em at evasive or other places for roughly the same price. The colors DONT fade and they're even lighter than skunk2 lugs. But if you dont care just get some random ones at summit or something. I wouldnt recommend using oem ones.

Looking for lugnuts, are volks worth it? 100 bucks... http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/2557791792.html
Or will 40-50 muteki gorilla or w.e work just as well? Do the volks offer a better security factor? I goto scool in downtown cincinnati so...kinda important I guess. THANKS

locking nuts dont make you safe but in my opinion it does add to the time that it will take the person to steal the wheels if you have locks.

even 20 seconds added to the time can make the difference.

my friend got his subwoofer stolen and he ran out and was able to barely attempt grab the dude before he hopped into the car his buddy was driving and bolted off
if he had taken even 15-20 seconds longer...my friend wouldve been able to catch him and beat his ass with the baseball bat he had

Well I hope I don't have to kick any ones ass lol I didn't know if possibly volk had a specific lock for their lugs versus other brands...are they worth 100 bucks?
