megan midpipe question

i am ordering obx race header this week and i need a midpipe to replace the cat obviously. does anyone know if it is the rsx-s megan midpipe that i need to fit correctly. if anyone knows could you please let me know. thanks a lot

um, if you need the cat replaced, the obx race header already does that.

and whatever raceheader you bought has to match the midpipe you're running. so if you got an OBX RH for a type s, then you need a type S mid pipe. Civic header then civic midpipe

alright cool thanks so should i get the megan midpipe for the ep3 cause i think im going to get the obx header for the ep3. or are there any other midpipes for ep3 that would fit?

the megan one is the only one that I found readily available. just before you install it bend the hangers that face the rear up a little bit. that will help solve the common banging issue that most people get.

alright thanks dude and real quick is this the one you got cause this is the one i was going to get but the reason why i was asking because this seemed so long but i am not completely sure. i am getting the obx race header also so you think these to will fit right? sorry i am kind of new to this stuff and just want to make sure before i order it.

actually dude sorry for asking so many questions but i have been looking under my car and i noticed do i even need a midpipe. like will the racing headers cover up where the cat is now and bolt onto the midpipe/downpipe that is already connected to the cat?

The raceheader replaces your stock header AND your catalytic converter. It will bolt to your OEM mid pipe fine.

one last thing. you're not going to want to put a rh on a stock mid pipe. the stock piping diameter is so small it will defeat the purpose of the header. If you already have a catback then you're good to go. My old ass just started skating again now that I moved to SC. Decent outdoor parks but its hot as balls
