I am wondering if anyone could help me, when I am doing 80 mph my rpm is at or just a tad bit over the 4. the only thing I have put on my ep3 is a aem cold air intake; anything would help. I was planning on going on a road trip and am just concerned this is a little high. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!

As the rest have mentioned, this is the normal rpm's seen. I never had any issues with the stock gearing, thou it is one of the main reasons why I went with the k20a2 w/6spd swap to allow a little more relaxed highway cruising.

No problem at all. I drove to AZ from OH and back, a total of 4,000 miles round trip and had absolutely no problems at all. My car is riding 164,xxx on the odo and was at about 135,xxx. Didn't even burn any oil.

Some roads in New Mexico had a speed limit of like 85 too haha so I was doing 90 for a good part of that state and it was fine. Don't sweat it. Honda knows what they're doing. Gas mileage will suffer with higher revs of course, but the motor will be fine.

Ya true im also running catless :gghey: gas mileage is the worst on the highway I try my best to stay at 60-65 mph
