Is $5600.00 reasonable for a K20A2 engine?

I'm been offered a K20A2 engine for $5600.00 Is it worth it. MY 2k2 Si has 3000 miles and the Type S engine 2000+ miles. Anyone has advice?

For another 700 you can get the K20A. 220 hp for 700 more is worth it in my book.

just wait a couple months if you can, the prices on the engines right now are through the roof... They'll come down a bit soon enough after the Kseries A2 craze.... For now try to give larry a call @ importautosalvage.com I dealt with him before and he is the BEST engine importer around! --Joe :)

The 20hp doesnt really do as much as you think it does...what you pay for is the LSD and the shorter and even more agressive gearing and the higher redline...etc etc

why stop at CTR 215 when the Integ -R puts down 225?

running a higher octane of fuel will probably net you maybe 4hp...the CTR btw puts down 200hp since it uses the K20A2 while the ITR using the K20A puts down 225hp at the flywheel...
