View Full Version : 04-05 jdm grill. Will a usdm emblem work?

hey guys im trying to find a usdm front emblem to use on my 04-05 jdm grill. Reason is because im growing tired of the red jdm emblem and would like to find a subtle alternative. Im just wondering if anyone has done this before or if anyone had pics. I measured my brothers 8th gen si front emblem and it measures around 4.5 while my jdm emblem is about 5" wide. So im just wondering if any newer honda emblems from a civic, fit, crz etc etc would work.

The 04/05 JDM grill with the big H uses the same size H as the 06+ si

Thats the red ones at least. Maybe the red ones are just slightly larger but I'm sure it would fit

yeah ive been searching around and i've read about the coupes having a different size than the sedans... and some say its the same size. I feel like im going to order a usdm emblem and it will be too small for my jdm grill.

either go JDM emblem to JDM grille or USDM emble to USDM grille

i dont think the usdm grill will fit my 04-05 jdm bumper.

I used to have the Ep2 Grill which is rare and its still CTR.


either go JDM emblem to JDM grille or USDM emble to USDM grille
There is also an ep2 which is in General JDM/CTR etc... :smile:

haha yeah when your wheels are candy purple the red kinda kills the vibe. so that's why i was looking for a different emblem. but i got lazy and gave up my search haha

I saw a picture of a white ctr
I don't know much about it, but I remember it had a regular emblem, not the red ones
and it wasn't a ep2 grill.

If you can, give us an exact measurement on that front emblem space.
Preferably in mm, but if not, inches are fine.
But try to get it exact.
from the widest part, to the tallest part.

And I sold a 04-05 JDM emblem to an 8th gen owner.
His was non si, and apparently it fit
also, the 8th gen si has the same fitment, from what he said.
