Im going for a flush ISH look haha. Im sitting on sokico blues with skunk2 coil sleeves. My rear is perfect but i have my front as far as it will go and it still has a good 3 finger wheel gap.. Do i just need to order a new suspension or what? Thanks in advance

thats not right either, that means you have em2 s-techs, which means your spring rates are less than stock, and its so low because you're sagging...FYI

is it installed wrong?

hard to tell if its installed wrong, the sleeves look right on the front shocks, it must be something up top, are you supposed to remove something from the top hats? only thing i can imagine is that the top spring retainer is not seating where it should on the bottom of the top hat

the topb sits perfectly fine... Maybe i need to break in the struts or ccoil springs?

break them in? how new are they?

If you still have the suspension taken apart.
Using your body weight, compress the strut.
It should be do able, I did it with my koni's.

See if maybe something in the Tokico Blue's construction is faulty, and it doesn't compress all the way
and basically bottoms out way too early.
Only thing I can think of through pictures.
It's so hard to tell cause the pictures show absolutely nothing wrong.

Some annoying ricer in a 6th gen accord from my school hada problem with Tokico's quality control?
One of his brand new Tokico Blue's was defective and how a lot of noise coming from it.

Edit:
So both the front do this?

Try setting the car back down on them, and look under the car.
If you have ramps it be best, but see how the springs are sitting.
Have you driven on them?
does it still dampen or is it super bouncy.

No it rides solid as anything. The ride quality isnt bad.. the coil springs ive had on my car for 10k or so and the tokicos have 3500 miles on them... I just dont know why its sitting so high up, if anyone knows specifics with tokicos.. what would happen if i took off that silver cap and didnt put it back on and let the coi sit even lower?

ugh this is annoying haha

What size tires are you running?
Maybe they are just so undersized, and your skunk2's/ tokico's design simply doesn't allow for it to go low enough?
Might need shorter front springs maybe?

I'm running Koni Yellows, and Ground Control coilover sleeves.
The front's are like half way, and the rear is all the way up.
And i'm tucking tire. 215/45/17.
It's a little odd but my situation is similar to yours.

im running 205/40/16 on 16x7 rims... i dont know. Im gonna leave this thread up for other people but i just put my suspension up for sale and ii have some money tucked away and im getting coilovers

the 205/40-16 has a diameter of 22.5"
where as stock 195/60-15 (i think) is 24.2"
Thats almost 2 inches. split that in half cause a wheel is mounted in the center
So thats about an inch on top, that you will have more gap than the stockish sizes.

I don't know if my argument is even valid but I'm basically saying
your suspension set up has to go a full inch lower than mine, to have similar tire/fender 'stances'.

Not all suspension components are the same. Some go lower than others, maybe the skunk2's paired with tokico blues simply can't go lower due to design
:/

yeah thats my guess and i guess im gonna put my wheels up for sale.. damn i loved them too :( i need 17x8's :)

Why not keep the wheels?

get 195/50-16 tires!
the stretch is good for stretch fitments, and it's taller/ closer to stock.

But I will agree, I would like some 17x8 +20 ish right now.

Yeah as much as i love my wheels i saw some wedsport sa70's... wow, i dont know if you've seen them but they are beautiful and will be on my car shortly :)
