Wanted: How to remove si from grille

I dunno for the Si logo but for the SiR logo it is held by 3 "locks" on the other side of the grille. It is almost impossible to reach without removing the bumper. Most people will just break it to remove it. There is 1 thing too is a new OEM Logo DOESN'T come with the "locks" so if you break them you'll have to use 3M double-side tape or some kind of glue...

I have a brand new SiR front logo for more than 1 year now and still havn't decided to remove the bumper to replace the worn front one lol

I took some picture of my fresh new badge. I guess the "Si" will only have 2 "locks".

how do you get said "locks" off? just push through?

Take the bumper off and you'll figure it out easy.

I suggest taking the grille out too so that it's easier to deal with. I used a small flathead screwdriver to work the "locking washer" off of the badge. I ended up breaking them though.

i would try to cut the extra length of the tabs on the old SIR badge so you do not have as far to pry the locking washers off (i.e. less chance of FUBARing them
