yep. changed my wheel bearing a few weeks ago and i guess i didn't tighten the bottom bolt of for the caliper housing enough and it fell off today while on the road; made a horrible noise (HORRIBLE) when i hit the brakes. pulled into firestone which was right down the street.

was wondering if anyone knows the torque specs for the two bolts behind the caliper housing is and what the proper bolt part # is for them. we got a temp bolt in there for now, and was pretty identical to the other caliper that was on there. but don't wanna take any chances :nono:

Torque spec?
I usually make sure that bitch is on tight. However if you really want to know there is a PDF file of the FSM Ep manual you can download somewhere on here. let me see if i can find it for you.

Edit: This should come in handy. I suggest you keep it on your computer. I know its helped my butt out many times.

mine did the same a few weeks ago. i thought my axle exploded or something. you have to go to honda to get the bolt, i went to kragen, autozone, napa, and a specialist auto place in BFE to just not find it.

Between 50 and 70ft lbs is my guess...just installed a wilwood bbk on the racecar I've been building for my friend, and they wanted 75ft lbs on the bracket to knuckle bolts...
