Talon's looks amazing! Sitting in it, the darker interior really pulls things together.

It does look very unique having the black headliner and pillar trims, I had dark window tint in the back already, that really helps as well. Almost tomb like with all the sound deadening!

not sure how i feel about it, just the longevity of the dye holding up before i have to respray it and the fear of the paint chipping on the pillars

looks great. i think if i did it i'd go for a full on rewrap instead of dye. and use trim paint on the pillars.

looks good...actually looks exactly like my interior..lol.

As for the slider, you have to remove the sunroof glass first, then you remove the slider brackets and then the slider out from the top of the car.

Looks like mine too!!

And yes, you will need an extra hand removing the glass from the roof. Reinstalling was a real bitch.

Looks really good!
How long did it take you to get all of it done?

Looks good. I did mine a few months ago as well. Like you I didnt touch the B pillars. I guess I was too lazy to take everything apart. What did you use to paint the pillars? I've done this quite a few times in my EG hatch, a few friends civics, and now my EP3. The paint is very durable and held up for quite a long time. No chipping or anything. And the touch feels the same. Did you do the visors and the little accessories too?

yes.. i did everything in black.. visors, pillars, the sunroof switch, etc... i used plastic primer for everything except the headliner it wasnt painted i just covered it with suede... but anyways then i used flat black paint from autozone i used about a can and half.. it took me about 3 weeks because i didnt do it all at one shot.. i would work on it for about an hour a day and prob like 3 days a week... i was busy at work didnt have much time

It may be a little late, but I found it better to use the O'reilys can compared to the autzone. O'reilys carries a vinyl and fabric spray in flat black or gloss black that sticks and lasts better. I even used it on the headliner. Although the headliner was a little difficult compared to suede fabric because it'll leave lines on the headliner if you dont paint it perfectly.

Wow. I didn't know so many people did this. I'm eventually gonna finish blacking out the rest of the interior, but it may be a while.

OP, once/if it starts chipping/scratching, you REALLY outta find this paint:

I can't recommend this stuff enough. It was recommended to me and I've been whoring it out ever since. The stuff's amazing! You might wanna get a little lighter shade though. I was told it would match perfect, but it matched better with the 04-05's. I got it at a local mom 'n' pop auto shop. Their website (http://semproducts.com/) shows how their stuff is no joke. With the way it mends together, it's SO easy to paint with and holds up like OEM. I scratched at it with my fingernail (just because) and NOTHING!

I'm even more anxious to finish everything now. :loco:

I see the door handles haven't been done, so I've got to ask: Did you do the center dash?
What's the plan for the seatbelt pulleys?

Here's a cellphone pic of mine, so far:

Thanks bud! I think the faceplate being done on the OEM radio really helps.. I did it like 4 months ago and between all the heat/dust and me not washing it, it still looks minty fresh.

SO glad my lady convinced me to do it!

EDIT: One of these days, I'm going to figure out something for the white gauges.. I'm thinking about getting the EP2 cluster, but IDK...
