hello hatchers,
I'm stumped. Please help.
I just bought mugen pedals, unfortunately, i just found out they are replicas.
anyways, it's easy to install both clutch & break pedals... but how do you remove/replace the gas pedal???
i'm pretty sure im not the first to attempt this... so if you can, please help or at least point me to the right direction.
please & thank you.

are they actual pedal replacements or something that you mount/bolt/screw onto the existing pedals?

the gas pedal does not come out at all. you have the install the gas pedal on top of the existing oem plastic pedal

I use a board and a tennis ball behind the pedals for drilling.

i just installed my Replica Mugen pedals this afternoon. the plastic gas pedal WILL come off, get a flat head in behind it and pry it off starting in one corner. theres lil tab-like things on all 4 sides that hang over the metal to keep it on.

I managed to install mine without drilling, but it took some ghetto-fab fabrication and some 3M double-sided automotive grade tape..
Hard to explain and to get pics, but it hasn't moved in over a year..
Good luck!
