INTERIOR
Caged 6 point roll cage in red
Takata Harnesses
Buddy Club Seats
KEY!S Racing steering wheel
Works Bell Rapfix QR Hub
STRI Oil temp and pressure gauges
Skunk2 gear knob
JDM Carpets
Sparco Pedals
D.R.E Shiftlight
Alpine headunit.

So there you are. The motor is running a 25 deg cam gear that we will be swapping out for a 35 or 40 maybe. So should yet still see some decent power increases. The motor is amazing though, with 190flbs of torque in at under 3000 revs the car is so drivable. Rev limit is set at an easy 8200 at the moment. The motor has been built to take a lot more and once we have the new gear in we will probably re set that at around 8.6-8.8k.

Also going to paint the rims red as I think they will look a bit more saucy.

Thanks to the guys at TDII North. Tony and Aaron at Skunk2, Eric Moon, Cristian Loza, Roy and Marin and everyone else at Cinibeat. The cars build is followed every month in Fast Car UK. (where I work).

Nice looking ep. Did you lose cruise control with the the skunk 2 throttle body?

sick car man. so sick. I live in Colorado at high altitude, so numbers like that on an N/A motor are pretty much unheard of. Also, I love the red cage and red mirrors on the white. I bet that thing is a blast on the circuit.

The car is not white. The color is a Fiat 500 Abarth colour. I will sort a link to the coverage. It is a UK Magazine I work for called Fast Car.

I was gonna say the same about you guys. Most of my inspiration is from this forums members. We are lucky in we have a slightly better car to start with. If you follow. But then so did the Japanese over us!

Sooo much to like here. Nothing but bank spent on so many areas of the car... only to kill it with the wheels. Its like the hottest supermodel with one boob doin a nude photoshoot. Yeah, no right click and 'save as' goin on there.

Don't get me wrong. Rotas have their place... on a budget built car... or a daily driven car in some of the worst weather or road conditions. But I look at your EP and can't see past the wheels... that's just my opinion.

People are so shallow when it comes to wheels......personally the car is sick and you rock the rotas very well. Nice car!

Its a personal choice. I wasnt hating on the wheels themselves... just that they were on HIS car. I said Rotas are fine... but IMO they dont belong on his car. Its like buying an NSX and getting some rims from Pep Boys for it. You just dont do that...

I love the car very very much!!! I however do agree that the wheels can be a little better. It's doesn't really matter to me about the brand but more about the fitment. With power like that and just the way the rest of the car looks/stands it would really look nice with a wider tire choice slightly higher offset. Other then that the car is gorgeous especially the paint.

People are too concerned with looks and status.

This looks like a track car to me. Wheels get beat to shit on the track. To me, if you are going to track your car, wheels are a disposable item and there is no point in buying expensive ones. Leave those for the hardparkers. You're better off investing in good tires, or elsewhere.

Have you actually tracked a car? And I don't mean 40mph auto X cone dodging...

While ANY wheel can be damaged during use... you are MORE likely to have rim failure using Rotas for track use than any quality rim on the market. But I digress.

You said it yourself, the car 'looks like' a track car. So, are we discussing 'looks and status' or 'track use' wheels?

Why do people get butthurt when Rotas are mentioned in an ASSUMED negative light?

G, the shit looks awesome. Rock on.

Yes, I have tracked my car regularly, on a road course, on Rotas (with 6-pot Wilwoods to heat them up under heavy braking in the front, followed by 322whp and 268lb/ft of stress afterwards, nonetheless). I have never had a crack, bend, or failure of any kind through two sets.

And please, do tell me why you think they are inferior to any other cast wheel that you would consider a "quality rim". Most OEM wheels are cast, Enkei RPF1s that everyone fanboys about are cast. I have seen a $3000 set of BBSs fail. Any wheel can fail.

You win. I lose.

PM me if you would like to discuss my fanboyism further. Thank you.

No big deal man. I appreciate nice wheels as much as you do. Just saying I personally wouldn't put them on the track is all.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, on the whole. Our roads especially where I live are pretty grim if I am honest. Potholes abound! I could just not justify $2-3k on some nice branded and acceptably cool rims to have them munched.

As far as the fitment goes though, yes I agree. I am going to put 8.5's all round and change the tires for a taller sidewall and go for something more track focused.I have to replace all the bushes first as at 170,000 miles they are a bit tired. Also I am going to fit a Wavetrack LSD and need to sort a baffled sump then she is pretty much where I want her.
