Test pipe? eBay test pipes?

My ep3 catalytic conv. is shot! Was wondering if any has a setup that eliminated the Cat. just using what I guess is call a test pipe? Saw some on eBay n wanted if any has any experience with these things? Any insight will help. Is it alot louder, will it mess with my ecu, emissions, whatever you can tell me will be great. Thanks!

You'll throw a code for the o2 if you don't run a defouler. Some people even get codes with the defouler on. It will be louder, quite a bit I'm assuming. I can update once I get mine on. I'll be putting the exhaust on as soon as I get my car back from paint. Hopefully this week! (finally, :mmad:)

I meant you'll get a code for your rear o2 sensor. These parts are universal 02-05.

a test pipe it will mess with the ecu and emissions. that is why a defouler is recommend so it can trick the ecu.
