Ok, so I'm not sure when this happened but somehow the wire going to my oil pressure sensor got cut, and now I need to re-wire it.

Here is what I'm talking about

I've tried to open the prongs holding the little bit of wire thats left, but have had no luck and since it is really delicate I don't want to break it.

Anybody out there have any experience with this? Any honda techs have any advice? Would this little part be available to get a new one from Honda?

Ask for Rich or Kyle. They should be able to help you out. It would kinda suck to order one clip from them... but maybe they will tell you which part number you need and you can get it from your local dealer. :mwink:

If you do not have the tools to simply solder it back together, check at a auto parts place for sound system bullet connectors, they should work fine.

Yea I think solder is your best option. The easiest/best option would be to pry the contact apart and solder the stripped wire to that. To crimp it back on would require custom tooling so that isn't a realistic option, even if you could get a new contact from Honda, which is pretty unlikely.
