Gauge cluster fuse keeps blowing

So I am a new ep3 owner as of today and I'm having an electrical problem.

The gauge cluster fuse (#10, 7.5 amp "meter" fuse) keeps blowing. It first happened when I plugged in my iPhone/iPod charger into the 12v outlet and connected to my phone. After that, it seems to have something to do with the lights being on (6000k hid's), and/or putting the car in reverse.

Anyone have any ideas?

whatever you do don't do what I'm sure some dumbass here is going to suggest and that is to up the fuse to 10amp. Leave it 7.5 and figure out your electrical issue.

haha trust me, i would never do that. i hate the smell of electrical fires!

do you have any suggestions for figuring out this issue? i'm wayyyy more mechanically inclined, i hate electrical systems.
