cams: need some input...

so i went to go get a valve adjustment the other day but the mechanic told me he couldn't do it b/c my exhaust cam is worn and needs to be replaced. Considering that the OEM exhaust cam is going to be a bit pricey, I figured it's probably better just to pick up a set of Skunk2 Stage 1 cams. The only problem is they are back ordered. So I've been looking for some used sets, but all I can find are Skunk2 stage 2 cams.

does stage 2 cams require Kpro? I know springs and what not are highly recommended.

Yes it requires Kpro to run properly.

have you looked into kelford stage 1 cams? clubrsx store has them and i have heard good reviews on them

thanks for the input guys. i wanna stay away from having to get kpro b/c i'm not trying to build this motor. Just need to replace what is worn w/o having to go the OEM route b/c it's so expensive.

I looked for kelford stage 1s for the k20a3 but couldn't find any and plus they are more than skunk2s...especially for the price i get things from showstoppers.
