Im in the market for a new cat-back, something louder than an Apexi WS2 but quiter than a Skunk2, I was looking at a Megan Drift Spec but I dont know how loud that is in comparison. Can anyone point me in the right direction with a deep sounding, but mildly loud exhaust?

if you want deep and clean....get the ws2 or the tanabe touring, add a race header and it'll give you the in between sound you are looking for.

i forgot to add that i will be gettting a race header as well and a cold air intake with hondata reflash, so whatever exhaust will bring good gains ill take a look at it. thanks guys!

I wouldn't go above 2.5" piping.

A local ep3 has a t1r exhaust that sounds like tittysprinkles.

you could add another resonator to get rid of some of that rasp

If you mate a spoon n1 up to a stock midpipe, that'll be a good combination of sound / loudness. No rasp, really deep and boomy throughout the entire rev range. I had this setup and really enjoyed it.

That's what I have and everyone tells me the sound is perfect.

Its not too loud and not raspy at all.

I have a Greddy EVO TT ~2.75, BUT has a bottleneck of 2.4-2.5". It's in great condition and I'm willing to sell it if you'd like.

Spoon n1. It's deep but at about 4.5-5k it gets loud. But its sexy loud.

the Greddy Evo 2 is what I have had for a while now and I love it. Deep throaty tone throughout the RPM's and louder than stock. No rasp or ting.

Spoon N1 is nice with stock header and stock midpipe..... Spoon N1 with stock header and 2.5" midpipe is pretty fricking loud..... and Spoon N1 with 2.5" midpipe and a race header it is stupid loud!

I did one road trip with RH + 2.5" midpipe and Spoon N1 (with silencer in)..... couldn't stand it. Sold it as soon as I got home haha.

Looking to do J's 60R now haha.

Bahaha! Hell yeah I have the Spoon N1 w/ a Megan midpipe and dc shorty header. I thought I had an exhaust leak when I bolted it on. After my rebuild it'll be dchr and 2.5" custom midpipe to a Spoon N1. I can't wait to hear the set up.

Is this an entire catback?

i have a custom 2.5" catback with a vibrant stealth muffler. everyone says it sounds nice, deep, and mean at the same time. i do not have any resonators so the interior noise is semi loud, but listening to music at normal levels evens it out. i plan on putting on an obx raceheader (comptech copy) and we'll see if i need to add a resonator then. here is the muffler:
