Well, I had my ep sitting for the past 2 months. I started it up yesterday to go get it inspected and the idle bounces from 1000-2000 rpms. I suspect this is caused by the IACV so I plan on cleaning it to see if it will fix the problem. My second problem is that I have no brake pedal pressure. When I went to push the brake pedal it went straight to the floor. What could cause the brakes to not work after having the car sitting up for 2 months. Could it be the master cylinder? The brakes were working fine before the car was sitting up for 2 months.

I would start by replacing the fluid and bleeding the system.

Bled the brakes but no luck. Also, cleaned the IACV but now I am idling at 1100 rpms and throwing a p0507 code.

sounds like the seals in your master cylinder took a dump. supposed to work the pedal once or twice a month so the seals get lubricated other wise they can tear suddenly.

Is there a write-up on how to replace the MC?

Does anyone know the prodedure for replacing the master cylinder? It seems pretty straight forward but I want to make sure I do it correctly.
