what up guys? I'm looking to mount a camera in my ep but I want a shot of the dash as well as the road. I'm trying to avoid buying a $150+ harness bar just to mount a camera on as I don't have an aftermarket harness. I was thinking of buy a cheap ebay strut bar and tweak the mounting brackets to fit where the front upper seatbelt mounting points are to act like a harness bar but to only mount a camera to. The only problem would be finding one long enough. Anyone have any suggestions or experience ?

Thanks

i personally have used a gorillapod, but its the SLR sized ones and i made it clamp on the seat's "headhole" -- the original gorillapod wont be able to "hug" our seat, theyre just not big enough

here's a link on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Joby-Gorillapod-SLR-Zoom-Flexible-Digital/dp/B000KFRSG4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1313024595&sr=8-1

I would just save the money for a harness bar. If your planning on putting a DSLR the weight of it just wouldnt be great. So Harness bar and a good mount.
