My shift cable or "Change Wire" as its labeled, is cracked at the plastic end where it twists into the shift selector housing.
I have been living with it for a while and it causes me to have to drive pretty slow and careful to make sure the transmission is actually in gear since i really cant feel if it is.
But now i actually have the money to fix it and i am trying to figure out if the UK, US, and JDM "Change Wire" is the same, or rather more importantly for my purposes, if the UK/JDM 6spd change wire will fit and work on the 5 spd.
has anyone got experience with the cables they are willing to share?
