Over heats when I turn on a/c...

I'm not sure if its my water pump that's going buy anytime I drive aground with my a/c for more then hour the car starts to over heat I park it and yuo can hear the coolant boiling... Do I need a new water pump or what could it be? As long as I don't di I've with the a/c the car drives fine

could be the thermostat when was the last time u changed it also does your cooling fan and ac fan come on
