That doesnt look like a K24 headgasket, it looks like it is overlapping the cylinder walls from that pic, if it is a K24 gasket could you have it placed on the head incorrectly? The gasket shouldnt go past the edge of the block, even if it was a K20 gasket, that drainback opening should be slanted and not straight, what brand gasket?

im assuming your doing a frank so wouldnt you need to get a headgasket that matches with the head and not the block

For the K-series the head gasket should be choosen by what cooling scheme is used on the head and is the proper bore size to match the block.

The CRV and TSX DO NOT use the same head gasket except possibly for the very newest model's, that part# is not for a TSX. The reason is the different type of cooling schemes. The picture i posted shows the drastic differences in those cooling schemes, installing the wrong head gasket will cause all sorts of cooling issues because they utilize DIFFERENT paths for cooling, mixing them up will cause the system to be confused at certain pressures.

You need to specify what year and model block and head, if the head is a Z3 design then the stock TSX head gasket would be used and make sure to reinstall the coolant divertor, if the head is a A2 variant, then the 06 and earlier CRV gasket will be used WITHOUT installing the divertor into the block. You can not order a TSX gasket from a Honda stealership, it is a Acura only part.
