Well i never really posted much on here. But I have bought some things from members and read and learned a LOT from this forum! Anyways I had a Blue 03 for two years (longest I have ever owned a car) and after less than a year I found a KILLER deal on a high mileage black 03. It just had pretty much the entire ac system replaced and a brand new BC Racing Br type suspension on it. I only have one crappy pic of it but I imediately pulled in the garage racked it up and pulled the trans to replace the third gear. Should be done next week. Needs a new drivers side axle, trans mount, clutch, rear main seal, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, front seats and some pdr work and should be a really nice car. It has 230,000 miles but I know some of the previous owners and has been taken pretty good care of. Anyways It feels good to own another one. Cant wait to start driving this car!

So I got bored today with my girlfriend out of town, so I rode up to my parents. Painted up the wheels and pulled the headliner out and painted it a charcoal color. I guess I will just update this as I go on with the cleanup of the car!

Heres the wheels

I painted the corner of it but the middle is actually stained from the former owner/smoker. Its pretty bad.

How much did you pick it up for? That's a decently high mileage car.
Another BC type BR owner =)

Well I would rather not say in case I decide to sell it! (I hope that doesn't make me sound like an ass!) But pretty much stupid cheap. And yes the mileage is high but it runs good so it doesn't scare me too awful much. I am an auto tech for a living, and have a lift at my parents house so I do all my own work and get parts at cost. Im sure by next year I will end up swapping it because I can't leave anything alone.

Ok so a little update. They shut down one of the bridges between Indiana and Kentucky, this is creating much more traffic than I am willing to deal with so I haven't been driving to my parents to work on it. I bought some parts for it and the transmission is ready to go back in with the new third gear set. Bought the competition clutch 1.5 with the 8lbs steel flywheel. Got a hassport transmission mount. Drivers axle from JC Whitney. Rear main seal, valve cover gasket, and honda MTF from honda. Im sure im missing a few things, but hopefully will get it back together tomorrow!

Niice rescue. I would like to do the headliner. Is it that difficult to pull out?
You should paint the vc while it's off. I just finished painting my vc and intake today.
I love it, but now Im getting the itch to do more painting hahah.

Been a while since I read this tread. The headliner was not hard to get out at all. I have read a few places to take it out through one of the doors, but I took it out the back. Had to bend it a little but it didnt hurt it at all. I will post pics here soon with it back in. Got the trans back in with the new mount, clutch, flywheel, axle, and rear main. The painted wheels look a lot better on it then I thought it would.

What kind of paint do you use for the headliner? That looks perfect for the Acura accesories I've got :shady:

Ok so I posted my last ep3 on here for sale and now I guess the rules have changed. I guess I am just over the whole car thing and want a jeep. I have already found the jeep I want, and I am selling this for right at what I have in it. I know its against the rules or whatever but I would rather this go to a fellow ep3'er for a cheap price then someone random I put a LOT of work into this. So here is my cl ad. http://louisville.craigslist.org/cto/2723562617.html
