EP3 Mugen Mid bar

So I just picked up a Mugen rear strut bar for RSX, but it fit my EP3. And as I was looking through the internet and forums I saw a Mugen Mid bar. I only find posts for RSX but not EP3.

Question is, is there an EP3 specific Mugen Mid bar or do I need to order the RSX ?

Also, with a mid bar, are you able to put your seats up?

I had the eBay replica version and I now have the authentic one. Both fit fine. The main difference is the quality of the welds and the gauge of tubing used for the bar. The authentic one is slightly heavier/beefier

I had the replica one in my car too, I just took it out because it got in the way of anything big to put in my car like my mountain bike. Also served no purpose at all lol

That's weird. It must've been my imagination then. I thought it made a slight improvement. Meh.

Yeah I was afraid that if I ever need to put something big in my car I won't be able to. I never use the trunk, or have anyone sit in the back. But you never know!

I hope you didn't take offense to my post. I would like to see pictures of your Mugen rear strut bar because I was under the impression that Mugen only made a front strut bar and a rear mid bar.

I've been trying to find pictures of a reat strut bar, but all pictures show me the mid bar.
Its my understanding too that the DC5R already has a lower strut bar consisting of gussets and small bar.

Oh no no offense taken. I dont mind, because I was unaware of that. Whether its real or fake, it looks good to me, just need to polish it a little bit. Sorry my trunk is dirty, havent cleaned it since I put in rear strut and CF hatch. I also dont know why but its outlined where like a sticker would go, but the Mugen is engraved into the bar.

ohhhh... you meant the rear strut tower bar (RSTB). i thought you meant the mid/H bar

Oh I did mean that bar. Kerby just wanted to know if my rear strut bar was authentic or not. Thanks Usedep3 for pictures. Looks pretty nice. Thats the replica or real?
