Ok so I was installing my hondata IMG (thanks to those who made the Vid on here, it helped tremendously) and I noticed the model on my intake mani was PRB, I don't think that's the stock for the ep3 and if not which one is it? I bought the car used and it already had a injen short ram intake on it but I've seen then added skunk2 RH and DC sport exhaust to it and the more I work on it the more I find little things like this haha.

PRB intake manifold is the stock manifold for the ep3s. Rsx type-s has the same manifold also. PRC is the ep3r IM.

Oh ok, for what I was reading I thought the prb was the type-s mani and maybe it would've had a little more flow to it. Oh well haha

Yeah our ep3 finally got something decent at least. Surprisingly how bad honda screwed us over. At least they didnt give us a damn plastic intake manifold. But im searching everywhere for the ep3r IM (PRC). and also supposively the type-s and ep3 throttle body is the same. I think a max bore throttle body and port matched prc IM would be a decent upgrade imo.

Very true, I'm thinking about going for the skunk2 intake mani and the skunk2 TB as well. I think the TB is like 74 or 76 mm which is a big improvement over the stock, you just lose cruise control tho.

Look at the Hybrid Racing throttle bodies. Sexx IMO. Plus they allow fitment on any Honda intake manifold WITHOUT a stupid adapter...

Oh, and i think BChaney still has a PRC in his FS thread...

I believe with the 70mm your going to need a slight bore on the manifold, and with the 74mm your going to need a aggressive bore. You might need some cams to get the full potential out of the 74mm tb. Well if you have a stock a3 I wouldn't doubt lose in torque. Good luck.

That's why I was going to bolt it up with the skunk2 mani, it's suppose to bolt straight up with no modification. I'm going to reflash soon and then kpro in the near future, so that's when I'll prob start messing around with the cams and such. A ways down the road I also plan on a k20a2 engine swap but that a little ways away haha

Imo that sounds like a waste. Just save up for a k20a2 or a k24.

The junk2 mani is NOT a simple install, you will need to make clearance mod's and then have an engine that will get WALKED very badly by a PRB equipped EP3 around town.

You can get similar results with a RBC mani for far, far cheaper.
