I just bought a air/fuel ratio guage and have been trying to put it in my turbo charged 2004 ep3. I have tried and tried and can not find what wire I need to hook it up to. I know that there is no real use for it because i have a narrow band o2 sensor and i know it might just be a lite show but just humor me......where is the wire for the o2 sensor on the ecu?

i dont know where the wire is but our stock o2 is pretty much a wide band. ive used it for all my tuning.

Your attempting to put a narrowband gauge on a wideband sensor. Your readings are never going to be accurate. Do yourself a favor and sell that 'light show' gauge and by a decent wideband.

the narrowband a/f sensor is not that crappy if you hook it up correctly and turn off sensor preheat in kpro. I've had it for a while and it is not as blinky as people with the preheat on and correlates well with the primary readings; moves up and down nice and steady like it should. I believe there is a purple wire on the ecu bundle it needs to tap into.

I really dont know if it is its a auto meter pro comp ultra litr air fuel guage it has three wires red black and purple i would assume red goes to 12 v positive and black is ground i know the purple goes to a o2 sensor just dont know witch wire its is i tried the red and white wire and the blue and wire wire doesnt seem to gey anything. Theres a purple wire coming from my e manage but i dont see one actuallu from the ecu

My bad, ecu wire is white with a stripe I think. I'll have to look into it unless someone knows.

Ive read that it was the white wire with red strip (Ive also heard thats the secondary o2 sensor) but i dont seem to be getting anything.

Ignore the part about the cat making lean readings.

thank jimmy james that really helped............just incase there is anyone else dealing with the same problems I had. The red wire on the right most connector does nothing not sure what its for but i didnt get a reading, however the white wire with red strip witch i believe is actually for your secondary o2 sensor did it(its on the left most connector). Thanks for everyones help.
