Easy question, Should I be using the K20A3 Spark plugs/ Injectors or the K20A2 Spark plugs/ Injectors?

Build consists of:

K20A3: Block, Rocker assembly, Cams
K20Z1: Pistons, Rods, Crank, Oil pump assembly
K24A1: Head, Valvetrain

You should probably not use stock K20A3 plugs, but find colder spark plugs.

You will want larger injectors than the 270s the EPs have. Maybe the A2 310s will work...

I have 650s... haha

What mods are you planning to put on? N/A or Turbo build?

I have 310s and 270s. Yeah I thought about the a2 spar kplugs since Ill have higher comp. but since I wouldnt put out the same whp, I had no clue. I believe the 650s would be just a tad out of my league.

Straight N/A. After the build is done. Im going to do a before/ after dyno with maxbore TB/ port matched PRC/ Top end RH. To show the gains from a stock tb/ prb IM/ DCRH to that.

310 injectors and one step colder plugs would work great.

When you say one step colder, you mean k20a2 spark plugs, right? Since the a2 sparkplugs are one step colder than the a3 plugs. I believe so.

i dont think there is a difference between factory plugs, you'll have to go and buy them, unless you have ik24's laying around. stock are identical to ik20's.

When I go to hondapartsunlimited.com they show 2 different part numbers. K20A3 is a cold rating of 6 and k20a2 is a cold rating of 7.

K20A3 = IZFR6K-11
k20A2 = IFR7G-11KS

isn't the ik24s for forced induction/ nitrous applications?

Yes, you do not need them. Getting a plug out of your heat range will do more bad than good.

So I should go with the k20A2 cold rating of 7 [IFR7G-11KS] since I'll be running a higher comp. ratio, correct? Kinda getting lost in this thread hahah

I believe it goes:

IK20 = 6
IK22 = 7
IK24 = 8
