Anyone have an issue with their rims? I can't tell if it's my tires or I need hubcentric rings for my rims. Rota Torques. Not sure of the offset I'll check next time the wheels come off.

Steering wheel wobbles going 45-65mph

How do you measure the bore?
This is what I've gathered from Honda-tech
"I'm not sure if all Rota wheels have the same center bore but 73-56.15 was to big for my Sub-Zeroes.....on my 03 Si.

67 x 56.1 is what I'm running and they fit lake a glove. "

Just want to make sure it's the right one before I order. Either I order hub-centric rings or I'm just gonna slap some buddy clubs off of an EM1 and see if that fixes the issue

if the center bore is the correct size, your wheel would slip on the center bore like a glove.

honestly first, check to see if your wheels are properly torqued down and check for any loose bolts around the area

Did that =/. Also I just had three alignments within these past 2 months so I know it can't be that. Also had the front wheels rebalanced as well.

They don't really feel snug =/. I can fit my fingertip inbetween the bore and the rim

Typically aftermarket rims are 73.1 (for universal fitment). I think the EP3 bore is 54.

I have 17x7 enkei RPF1 with 73mm bore. They come with plastic center rings, the steering wheel wobbles only when I hit the brake. Replaced them with aluminum 73mm x 56.15mm, they seem to fit better than plastic. Now, still wobbles, but not much like the plastic ones.

that has nothing to do with the hubcentric rings. Your rotors are warped hence the reason why it only happens when you step on the brakes. Get some new rotors or have them turned(cut) if they are still in spec

Ok I still can't figure out what that wobble is from... New LCA bushings, balljoints, tie-rod ends, hubcentric rings, alignment after the LCA's were put in, and tires were balanced 2 months ago.

Wobble starts at 40-60 then stops and is smooth sailing anything higher than 60

Get an alignment

Oh oops.

Try rotating your wheels
flip them around and see if you get the same results.

Hyu, did you install the tie-bar then have this happen? Or is it ongoing?

Bent rim. Do you have another set of rims? (Stock rims?)

Do your axles have the rubber balancers on them? You will usually see them about 1/3rd of the way down the axle from the wheel...

Let me see if I can answer this as best I can. On oxycondine right now after my wisdom teeth removal.

Not bent rim that I know off.
On-going after I installed tie-rod end
Axle on passenger side is new. Axle on driver side doesnt seem to be torn or ripped
Have another set of rims but I need hubcentric for those (buddy clubs)
Didn't notice the rubber balancers?

This happened right after I switched the wheels.

Wheel bearing? We had a Rav4 come through recently with a similar problem. Owner thought it was his aftermarket wheels, ended up being a wheel bearing.
