are you using the ep3 tb? you need the karcepts adapter to fit it which I'm sure you know already but the map sensor stays in the ep3 tb and you get a rubber plug that comes with the karcepts adapter to plug up the hole on the rbc. Here is a pic for reference. I didn't have to cut anything to get it to fit but I did buy it used from another ep3 owner, I didn't even touch the radiator support, just a tight fit no cutting needed.

RBC IM cutting instructions can be downloaded from the Karcepts site.

Karcepts also sends you instructions on how to cut it, forgot about that

Off topic... RHCP - Did you have any interference issues between your HR fuel rail fitting and the throttle/cruise cable stay?

TRAITOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are you sticking with the A3 motor? Why dont you keep the cams pick up this super clean 24k orig miles CRV head from me =P It'll up the flow yo! Than just build a A4 or A1 block with some decent internals and make big power.

I'm sad your leaving the SC world :(

I was tempted to go turbo but since my car is my DD the SC setup is way less issue prone... not to mention HEAT.

Good luck man!

nope, none at all. They don't even come close

what did you use for gaskets?

I used the oem gasket for the intake mani, the gasket for the tb adapter I just used liquid gasket because I had some laying around, you can buy the paper gaskets though

Wow thats crazy because mine would not fit at all. I ended up having to get a shorter fitting from HR to be able to mount the throttle stay in the stock holes.

You have the stock throttle stay, rite? I can't see the cruise cable in your bay.

Did you use the plastic insulating washers/bushings between the IM and the rail?

Yea I have the stock throttle stay and the cruise is hooked up. I didn't use the plastic washers, just took the stock one off and put the injectors into the HR rail and bolted it down

Actually now that you say it, the rail would prob be crooked if you didn't have the insulator washers (they're stock) under the rail because the injectors would be taller than the height on the rail mounting spots.

not sure but mine has been perfect since I put this rail on at the beginning of summer

how did you not cut your support again?

i drilled out the 2 holes i didnt need and tapped them for 1/4 NPT plugs. i wasnt sure the rubber plug would hold the boost and i wasnt going to risk it.

took the support off, put the rbc on than put the support back on after the mani was all bolted down. The only problem I had was the hood prop would rub against the mani so I just had to bend it put a little bit

what mounts are you using? cause mine needed like 3/4 of an inch to clear...
