I've been noticing that I've been going slower than everyone else, actually I've noticed it for a couple of weeks now. When I did my swap (k20a2 w/6spd) the passenger side abs spd sensor had gotten torn off, so I thought it was that. I replaced it with brand new oem sensor. My speed was still off so i thought it was the speed sensor and switched it from the a3, the speed was still off, trying both the a2 and a3 speed sensor the speed is still off, I'm stuck on what it could be.
Could it be ECU? I'm currently using the PRD ecu from the civic type r, using the a3 axles? shouldn't effect it right? i'm on stock 15's 205/55/15, but i don't think that should matter. I'm just stumped

Hey now! Keep that speedo on! There's kids around.

Alright, have you tried a idle reset by disconnecting the power terminal for about 15 minutes.

i guess thats the fastest way to start doing an idle relearn. i doubt thats going to help with speedo reading.

my guess is if you got kpro, check your gear ratios and go over all your settings.

205/55-15's are not factory sized. 02-03 is 195/60-15, 04-05 is 205/55-16. the size you posted has a .5 inch taller sidewall.

does your speedometer read too low or too high?

its too high, and its with the car off? which i did do but not for 15 mines it was more of like 1-3 mins...and no kpro, PRD ecu

^bump, i've idle reset twice now, and each with the k20a2 and a3 vss, guess i'll just relearn the speedo.....does running the PRC ecu effect it?

i bet you its something funky with the ecu and the gauge...try a type s ecu and see if that changes. just barrow one. for 5 minutes.

Didn't read...

Sounds like an ecu might help. Maybe it has something to do with the trans swap.
