Sorry,
Cargo nets are a $30 option through your dealers parts counter.
Honda doesn't give anything away.

Nope, Honda sells them as an accessory. I was thinking of getting the trunk tray, but it's too expensive at around $160 CDN. Oh, and my dealer sells the cargo net for about $100 CDN, ouch.

I Just got mine for free straight from American Honda and this the how. Write a letter to American Honda staying that you just bought an Si and it didn't come with a cargo net, and you just checked their Si website and it's a standrad equiment. Be sure to tell them that you are "very dissapointed" on this issue and you expcet them to mail you one for free. Of course you have to be nice about it ^.^ I got mine within 2 weeks. Do it fast before they update their website :D

I won't even bother - who really NEEDS a little cargo net anyway? I think they are really unattractive.

Always looking for mis-print! lol But see, they aren't stupid either, when the guy from Honda told me he's gonna send me the net, he "have" to send it to the dealer, I guess he is trying to make sure that I acutully bought the car....

As far as truck liners go, you might try a custom made one. I'm planning on ordering a sheet of diamond patterend rubber from Griot's Garage (http://www.griotsgarage.com/catalog.jsp?L1=L1_2500&L2=L2_2530&SKU=92168) . It sure beats paying around $100 for a trunk liner that had a big lip on it so you can't really put the seats down.

I figure that 3 liniear feet should do it, and allow a little room on all the sides. Should be about $45 plus shipping.

And thanks for the tip on the cargo net Smapzy.

By the way. I just checked the civicsi.honda.com site and cargo nets are now listed as "available."

I wrote my letter already to American honda. I made them give me; Free Cargo , because of thier web site.

Also i asked them for Free OEM fog light kit and floor mats, cause the dealer treat me bad and they scratched my honda logo.

Who knows they might give me the lights and floor mats but i hope. i want the cargo net too!

il update u guys!

I bought and installed cargo net, instructions don't tell you that it is necessary to remove both panels unless you have very small hands in order to tighten the secure nuts/hooks. Other then that, I like it, no more groceries flying around the hatch while doing high speed corning.

In case you guys still haven't write the letter to American Honda, the Cargo net is no longer a "standard equiment". And you can't get it for free now.

yeah, I just got the damn call today. They said they were sorry for the mix up. They took note of it as of 9 July. Fuckers! Oh, well, it's probably only like 35 bucks, if it's the same as the last one I had for my 97 ex
