I have searched and searched some more but I cannot find an answer to whether or not you can clear the SRS light with Type S Leathers installed. Can anyone advise?

to make sure it doesnt come on, you have to make an SRS bypass jumper. or you can buy em on ebay now too. as for clearing the srs light, u gotta go to the dealer i believe.

not neccessarily.

OP did you forget to disconnect your battery before doing the seat swap? if so, you can just reset the SRS light with this: link (http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?t=308198)

did you remember to swap out the RSX buckles for the ones found on your old ep3 seats?

did you have side airbags on the ep3 seats?

The seats were already swapped when I got the car, I'm pretty sure none of the buckles were swapped out. Right now, none of the plugs are plugged in. I wasn't sure if the plugs match up or if it was safe to plug them in so I haven't tried plugging them in yet. I tried doing a SRS light reset but it just came back on. No clue if the old seats had air bags but the new ones do.

you need those plugs plugged in. the srs light is on bc there is a break in the circuit where the plugs are disconnected. plug them in and reset the light.

Do the RSX leathers sit lower than stock EP3?

Anyone got specs on how much lower?

maybe an inch, if that. i mean, there isnt much room to go too much lower than that without putting the seats directly onto the floorpan without any rails lol
