Will the stock ep3 (04') front calipers work with type s rotors and brackets or do i need to use type s calipers as well?

I read the pistons are the same size, not sure if the ep3 calipers can be used on the type s rotors? I couldn't dig up the swap thread for 04 ep3 with type s caliper/rotor upgrade. Does anyone have the link? If my memory serves me correct, I need the type s calipers, rotors and brackets, is that correct? No need to change knuckle right?

What i did was buy 04 type s calipers, brake pads, rotors, and dust shields for the fronts only because the rears are the same. that is all you need. you can also take it a step further like me and get stainless steel brake lines and slotted rotors but thats up to you. honda parts unlimited has remanufactured ones for cheaper and thats the route i took, they look brand new and are painted silver, cant lose with that.

Don't you need the caliper bracket as well? I was told dust shield is not necessary.

all you need are the calipers, pads, caliper brackets and rotors. You do not need the dust shields, I just bent mine back a bit so they don't contact the rotor, been good for over 2 years now

are there any fitment issues with the Ep factory 16" wheels?

and are there any noticeable differences in braking. like shorter distances or more dive in the front?

well then may i ask is there a benefit to swapping the brakes over? because all it seems to do if there isn't a difference in stopping is adding unsprung weight to the equation.

fills up the wheel on 17s and 16s a lot better
