need help: z3 swap into ep3

1. ok doing a swap and don't have time to get into mods can i just used the z3 long block and used every thing ep3 will
that work with any issues.

2.beside that first question can i use the z3 harness and ecu

any info will be great thanks guys!

i believe you'll need k pro for it to run right. if you're keeping the ep3 tranny then everything else should bolt up the same. not sure about the harness though

Just to add... the z3 ECU is in the engine bay... so im gonna say you can't use the harness in the EP. If you use the EP harness you MIGHT be able to get away with running it on a PRB (k20a2) ECU (KPro doesn't have z3 KALs for basemaps... most guys start off with a modded a2 map)... but you still have the immobilizer issue.

I can't think of anything that would be different (maybe knock sensor plug... you def need to use the EP TB and get rid of the Z3's TB). Its been a while since I have had hands on with a z3...

thanks man i need all the info i can get,think i'm using all the ep3 stuff just to make it plug and play.z3 intake another time! unless i can put the tb ep3 on there can it b done.

The EP TB wont fit the z3 manifold (RBC) W/O an adapter. The EP manifold (PRB) doesn't have the waterport attached like the RBC. The cheaper route is goin to Karcepts.com and checking out their RBC adapter. There's a ton of info there that can help you out as well...
