Hows it going guys. I'll give a little background to start out. I've been working on cars since the age of 13 with my grandfather and brother. When we were 13 14 years old wed get these ride on mowers that wouldnt run from my grandpa who would clean out peoples garages and such. We would get them running and try doing stuff we saw on horsepower tv and read in magazines to our lawn mowers. We would take the exhaust off make a straight pipe the best we could rig up a cheesy air intake and port polish the intake and head of the mower. It was in good fun back then. When we turned 16 and got our cars it started getting out of hand. Me and my brother got a djm lowering kit for his 98 ranger lowered the front 5 inches with tubular control arms new coils polyurethane bushings doeshtec shocks and did a axle flip kit in the rear to lower it 6 inches ofcourse using polyurethane bushings. Put roush racing sway bars on it front and rear mustang gt 14 inch rims with 245 bfgoodrich z rated tires. We then put a 8.8 rear in it and hes now getting ready to swap a 5.0 out of a explorer into it with a t56 transmission. Plans are to make it a 331 stroker and push 4-500 hp and matching torque to the wheels (were trying to make it an autocross truck coilovers are next). I have a 1995 wrangler (yj) that i did a small block chevy 350 with a 700r4 transmission conversion to. Swapping in a 8.8 rear end and going to run 33's with 4.56 gears on a 2.5 inch lift eventually make the motor a 383 stroker and the 700r4 already is built.

And now I just bought my eps its a 2003 si. In my opinion its just a little peppy right now but I plan on fixing that asap. I havent even had the car for a month yet and installed a injen cold air intake. Not a cheesy one that puts the air filter next to the motor and just makes the car sound cool. It routes the air filter straight down to the bumper. Dyno sheets show it added 11.5 hp and 10 ftlbs of torque. And I just ordered my apexi noir catback exhaust. I'm just doing bolt ons for now but once I dont have anyother bolt ons to do I plan on swapping a k20a2 with the 6 speed tranny out of a type s into it and building that motor. But my question to you guys is what is a good header to buy thats not as pricey as spoon or mugen is.

Welcome! You've definitely got a good background to start working on these cars. As everyone I'm sure will say, post up pics! Of any projects you have

A decent replica header would be OBX v2 or v3. They can be had for relatively cheap on fleabay or amazon. A good quality header (also replica) would be the kidd racing/private label header. We have a vendor here Witz who sells them at a really good price. (you'll need to cut your midpipe or the provided test-pipe to make that header fit.)

I like the sound of the kidd racing header I might have to get in touch with him soon after my next couple of pay checks.

Picture of the jeep its still a work in progress but its getting there. Its more of a toy/project car and the ep3 is my toy/dd.
