Stock OEM Wheel weight

Does anyone know the Weight of the Stock Rims on our 2002/2003 SI's with or without rubber?
Like everyone else, I intend to upsize the wheels and tires,but I do not want to add more unsprung weight to the car.

correct me if im wrong but i believe i remember hearing the

stock rim alone by itself weighs right around 19.5 lbs. not sure with tire. guess it would depend which tires u get

yup, i remember that too. someone weighed them w/o tires and posted that amount

Why don't you throw one of your wheels with the tire on a scale and post your findings. Since we already have the weight w/o the tire, it would be nice to have it with the tire as well.

Remember, this is simply a suggestion. But it would be helpful to whoever else wants to know too. And plus, it can be a little project for you.

19.5 sounds about right.

Thanks for the info everyone! With a stock weight of 19.5 lbs, going to the 17"Konig Traffik at only 15.9 lbs sounds like a winner.
