Saturday morning at around 2:45am a drunk driver rear ended my car while parked across the street from my house. I wanted to know does this look like it's totaled. I did get insurance involved since it was a hit and run as well. Figured should I save it or part out. All feed back is appreciated.

It looks to be from that picture. Obviously it's going to come down to how much they estimate the cost of the damage to be vs. the value of the car.

I already sent it to the shop the insurance company provided, it only has 38000 on it :( and I don't know if they caught the guy who hit it. They just told me they found the car.

Honestly, with the location of the impact and the damage to the rear quarterpanels, you're probably going to be better off if it is totalled. You'll have a chance to find another EP that hasn't been smashed.

thats totaled for sure. You can usually buy vehicles back from insurance companies for cheap, but for your safety, Id let that one go to the crusher. Not to mention, if they spot weld some stuff, your structural integrity goes out the window. That being said, buy it back, and swap all your good parts into a higher mileage car.

Get another EP and use for totaled for a part-out and spare parts.
