I like the look of the oem muffler. (Well, I want to stay looking as oem as possible, without hurting performance.) I have seen some people say our mufflers are good up to 300hp, but I cant find any back up to that. What Im wondering is how are people getting 300hp out of their oem mufflers? Do they still keep the axle-back and just run new piping to the axle-back? Or do they run new piping all the way to the actual muffler? Would running new piping all the way to the muffler not be better anyways?

i did my 3" to my muffler. all it hurt was a little flow. the muffler flows pretty good, n/a shouldn't be a problem with that muffler. its the same as the CTR from what i read.

So you did 3" straight into the muffler itself and not to the axleback?
