Completely stock 04' Ep. I'm thinking of going 205-60-16. Just not sure of the affects to my mpg will - suffer or have a slight increase? I've decided on Yokos AVID ENVigor in 205-60-16 or Kumho 4x in 205-55-16. The kumho's are on sale for $79 plus $50 rebate. The Yokos are $89. I have the asx and feel they are offer a stiff ride and do not absorb bumps well.

i usually go with falkens 512's 215/45/17 theyre quiet and are pretty comfortable but grip really good. it depends what your going for, if comfort then go with 60's

Hankook Optimo H727s. $107+shipping and highest rated wear and traction on the tirerack survey, if you're looking at touring tires. 700 UTQG rating. check it out. If you have 15's they're much cheaper.

on another note, theres no telling how it will affect your MPG, as if you were to try and actually measure it, the taller sidewalls will move your car further per rotation, throwing off your actual distance measurement. your speedo reads off the diff. the diff spins the same no matter the tire size, but your Odometer is calibrated to your factory tire size. a 225/50-16 is the same size as a 205/55-16, a 205/60 would be bigger, and weigh about a pound more. thats more rotational mass also. so who knows, your actual gains in distance from a larger diameter tire vs the extra sprung weight might cancel itself out. but your odo/trip and speedo will be off if you use a different diameter tire. use a tire calculator to find a tire with the same diameters as stock to keep everything nice.

Mine came with 205/60-16......speedo is off by @3-5mph, they look like ass and handle like turds. I wouldn't do it. I can't wait to wear mine out so I can buy the proper size. On the plus-side, they do fill the wheel well better.....
