She's a 2004 with 57,000 miles on her. I bought her Dec 27th 2010 from a dealership in Iowa. My part list for this build includes:

Ingen Cai - Installed shortly after buying the car.
Buddy Club Race Header.
Apexi WSII cat back.
Tein SS Coilovers with pillow ball mounts.
Tein EDFC.
Jackson Racing Supercharger - Race version.
Innovative Motor Mounts.
Progressive rear sway.
Defi Advanced BF oil pressure, oil temp and boost gauge + controller.
JDM red valve cover.
JDM spark plug cover.
EDM Projector headlights.
Headlight leveling switch.
Dynamic CEL eliminator.
Kpro.
HID harness, ballasts and bulbs.
Mugen oil cap.
Greedy oil filter sandwich adapter.
RSX Type-S mid-pipe - Although I may not use this and just modify the WSII mid-pipe.

So far, all I've done is install the header and the axle portion of the WSII... But in my defense, That's all that I have received so far... Most of it is to be delivered next week, except the headlights and motor mounts.

Here is some pictures of the exhaust.

Just got back home from a small vacation so I will be able to get more work done in the next couple of days. The Progress rear sway bar and the Greedy oil filter adapter showed up today, and the Tein SS and EDFC are being delivered tomorrow... However I still haven't received a confirmation from ShowStoppers that my JRSC-R + Kpro has shipped... Which I was told last week it would ship last Friday... I'm generally a patient person but I ordered it on the 27th and it's now the 11th, oh well shit happens I guess. That's what I get for assuming it would be here by now and taking this week off work to take a small vacation the first part of the week and having the rest of the week and weekend to install it.

I also ordered a set of 17" Buddy Club F91 Kuroki wheels and lug nuts.

I also stated to modify the Apexi mid-pipe... Turns out I cut it in the wrong place, so I had to make a second cut and will finish mocking it up tomorrow.

Quick update:

EDFC, motor mounts, rims and tires and leather shift boot are installed. Chuck from ShowStoppers called me Friday to tell me that the JRSC-R + Kpro just arrived and would be shipped out immediately so hopefully thats here by this weekend, and I just received an e-mail with tracking number from ProCivic that tells me my StopTech BBK will be delivered friday. I also ordered a Viper 3303 alarm (will be here Thursday).

Friday, I took my rims over to TireRack and had them mount some Kumho 205-40r17s... Didn't notice till Sunday when I mounted the rims that they had mounted a tire backwards. So I had to go back on Monday to have it remounted. Also found out I ordered the wrong lug nuts (1.25 instead of 1.5) so I had to use the stock Honda lugs... Which of course is a ball seat and not a taper seat... So the correct lug nuts will be here tomorrow and then I can do a shake down run to make sure everything is good so far. Once I verify everything is properly working, I can then take it to the muffler shop to have the WSII axle back section lengthened to fit the RSX mid pipe. In the next week or two, I expect to receive the EDM projector headlights and then I will install the HID system.

Tomorrow I will take my car to the building and get her cleaned and take some pics.

On a separate note, one of my friends has press passes for the Chicago Auto Show for Wednesday the 8th and has inited me to go with!

Here is my progress as of 1a.m. when i called it quits:

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/imagecopy3-2.jpg

I need to run to the Honda dealership to get the TB gasket, and I broke the plastic housing on what I'm assuming is the fuel pressure regulator... I'll look again before going to the dealership just in case I need to replace that too.

Also I forgot to post the other day that one of the Buddy Club lug nuts I ordered wasn't threaded!

Ba82Ep3

You mean the round pulse dampner on the fuel rail? The plastic cover isnt neccessary.

If its in the way when you try and install the fuel rail you can slot the mounts on the rail like this...

http://i206.photobucket.com/albums/bb198/dnewms/Car%20Stuff/100_0889.jpg

You will have no issues installing the rail or the damper getting in your way...

Ok, I think I'm done with the supercharger install, but I have five questions...

1st. What the hell plugs into this nipple?

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/imagecopy5.jpg

2nd. I'm assuming this is where you plug in a boost gauge?

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/imagecopy4-1.jpg

3rd. When putting my throttle body on, the cruise control cable got flipped around (i.e. it now runs close to the valve cover instead of right behind the radiator.), will this be an issue?

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/imagecopy6.jpg

4th. The instructions call for a specific amount to torque the belt to... I'm again going to assume and say to achieve proper belt tension, I torque the adjustment bolt to that specification?

5th. I'm having issues getting those little factory brass colored clips onto the new fuel injectors... are they not supposed to go on to the new injectors?

Thanks for your help.

Sorry for the delay, for some reason I keep putting off making this update.

Let me start off by saying that changing to extended lugs is a pain in the ass! But I was able to "Cheat" them in with out having to remove the hubs. Needless to say, after installing the lugs I installed the 15mm Eibach wheel spacers and then finished the StopTech BBK instal.

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/IMG_0988.jpg

Next on the list was to install the Polk Audio 6.5 components in the front, and 6.5 two ways in the rear.

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/image-8.jpg

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/IMG_1003.jpg

After that, I installed the Greddy oil sandwich adapter and Defi Advanced BF Oil temp, pressure and boost gauges. I have them temporarily mounted in front of the stock gauge cluster until my buddy finishes modifying the center dash piece to fit them where the center vents used to be.

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/imagecopy-4.jpg

I also spent some time chasing down some issues she was having (high idle, SRS and ABS lights, clunk in the front left), fortunately I sorted those out relatively easily. Here are a couple of quick pics of how she currently looks, I will take better ones as soon as I get time to clean her up properly.

I had taken her to Tuffy on Monday to get the Apexi WS2 welded in (as it sits its clamped), but that was a failure... The 1st attempt failed because they couldn't get her on a lift because of how low she is, so I went back later in the day when the alignment bay was open, but they couldn't have welded it in time before the closed because of the restricting space... God forbid you work late to help your customers! The old saying is that "if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself", so thats my intent this weekend. Also I want to shorten the wires for the edfc so its not so clustered under the dash.

I always carry a .45 (either a Kimber Ultra Raptor II or a Springfield XDM .45 Compact) and I often wondered if individuals would be more willing to be more helpful if I opened carried vs. conceal carried... I can't blame them for not wanting to work over because their boss miscalculated the time it would take to do the job properly, that's not their fault... However, if I was in their position I would have worked on it regardless of how late I had to stay... But that's just me.

Thanks man, this is my first real build. I've done coilovers, exhaust and stereo in a 4-door '96 civic ten years ago, and a subtle body kit (this was just before Fast and Furious came out, so there was only one maker of body kits for my car!), rims, exhaust and stereo on an '89 Prelude Si a few years before that (In fact I think I have a picture of the prelude somewhere), but not anything really worth sharing. Ever since I was a little boy I've wanted to properly modify a car, and specifically the EP3 since I first test drove one back in '02 (couldn't afford one back then), So this has been like a dream come true for me. I just wish it didn't cost so damn much!

The only things left to install on the current phase of the build is:

1. Viper 3303 two-way alarm
2. EDM Type-R projector headlights (When ever they come in)
3. HID Kit

Eventually in the next year or two, I would like to get Type-R bumpers, lips, side skirts and wing ('02-'03), In-dash GPS, 5-channel amp and 8" sub, Volk ce28n in bronze (Would have bought the set off of Hurr1cane(sp?) had he listed them one week prior to when he did), LSD and a K20a2. Also the Type-R power folding mirrors with built in turn signals would be pretty damn cool too.

I will admit whenever I see a white EP3 with Type-R lips I regret getting a VBP! They are so sexy in white!

Very nice man. I was always a fan of honda's and this is my first real build as well. White EP's are nice but I really miss my old NHBP EP now.

Those edm headlights are worth every penny. BTW, I don't believe the JDM power folding mirrors came with the built in turn signals. IIRC, you can get facelift mirrors with the blinkers and the heated mirror option.

You should def consider getting an HFP spoiler. Direct bolt on & perfect fitment. They were discontinued recently and will get harder and harder to find. EP3R aero parts will always be expensive but easier to find.

Another small update, and not of the good kind...

It's been hot here lately, ranging between the high 80's to low 100's, which has made it difficult to properly was my car each time I take her out. So, the other night I busted out my halogen work lights and washed her in the driveway. I finished washing her around 11pm, and was to tired to properly detail the rims, so I put it off till Friday after work. Now, when I detail my rims, I'll jack her up and put her on stands, remove the wheels, wash the rims, tires, calipers and suspension bits, then I remount, add the tire conditioner and then torque to the proper spec before lowering had back down.

Yeah it didn't quite work that way this time... When I was jacking Racheal up, I didn't have the Jack's saddle seated properly on the front crossmember, so when I was about half way up she slipped off the jack. :meek:

The lower radiator mount came down onto the jack and did this:

http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/f4e5495c.jpg

I was able to straighten out the lower member, then proceeded to do the detailing I had originally set out to do. I finished reassembling her, then when I lowered the hood I realized there was about a 1/2" gap... There is a vertical brace that connects the lower mount to the upper mount, and it thoroughly mangled the upper mount. So I had to order the top mount and vertical brace from Majestic Honda, which even with shipping it was about $60 cheaper then I could have it ordered from a local Honda dealer. I hope to have it late this week or early next.

Also ordered some more detailing supplies, I finally broke down and bought the Wolfgang fusion estate wax, along with their sealer and paint prep. Also going to try some Leather Master products and the new heavy duty wheel cleaner from Griots Garage. I can't wait!

Terrible mistake not taking necessary safety measures when jacking up a car. Take your time n do it rite.

Indeed, I triple check now before raising the vehicle.

nice build

Thanks man.

Small update: 9 months later and still no headlights lol. the wait continues... Also, she's been acting up a little, throwing a check engine light every once in a while, however the OBDII scanner I have says everything is good... Also she idles a little high at times, just below the 2000 rpm mark.

Just realized I haven't updated this thread in a really long time!

Finally received my EDM CTR Projectors, installed them along with OEM fog lights:

And they sent me the Halogen version instead of the HID version... And I'm still waiting on the fucking leveling harness...

Built a wiring harness for the FuzeBlock, which I installed to power the Tein EDFC and the Defi Advanced BF gauge controller:

Installed sound deadening in the doors and hatch:

Installed a Kenwood DNX-890HD Navigation receiver and a back-up camera:

Then, an Alpine 4-channel amp and an 8" Polk Audio MM subwoofer:
http://i1226.photobucket.com/albums/ee411/DrunkenYakinc/Project%20Racheal/IMG_1367_zps0256ab4e.jpg
And installed two led strip lights to the rear hatch area, sorry for the shitty pic:

I also installed a set of Mugen pedals, but don't have any pictures right now. Oh, and I've also replaced all of the bulbs with LED units.

And now for some EP3 porn!

Thanks, one cool thing about the head unit is that it will allow you to view the back up camera while driving! My kids get a kick out of it

Short answer: I just might be a slight bit retarded and never got the memo...

Long answer:

1. I like supporting the EP community and it's vendors.
2. The pictures on the SSR site showed a bunch of little accessories that came with it, which made it a slightly easier deal then ordering through Linden's Honda.
3. I needed a leveling harness also.
4. I've heard a lot of great things about SSR, and I liked how they are somewhat active on this forum.

Why it took so long? I don't know. Sure, I could tell you all of the reasons/excuses Wayne told me as to why it took so long, however, it became apparent a long time ago that his word means absolute dick. After all, he was terrible sorry for the mix up (between halogen and HID, which I don't blame him for) and would send my harness out ASAP. On the 5th of June it will have been two months since he said that.

Oh, and heads up to all of you guys that are lower then stock, this jack http://www.harborfreight.com/low-profilehigh-lift-floor-jack-with-rapid-pump-2-ton-heavy-duty-68050.html fits under with plenty of clearance and lifts high enough to fit jack stands underneath. It also has a foot pedal to raise the saddle to the chassis, and a knob at the top of the handle allows you to release the pressure slowly and accurately, unlike when you have to twist the handle.

Sorry u had to go through that. Ssr is a rip off and has gotten alot of heat on forums lately. They wanted 350 for lhd type r mats lol. I paid 170 from Honda. Here's a link for future reference foe those lights , lhd

Any updates?
Love you set up !

Does the sound deadening work decent? Did you install for audio benefits or for road noises?
