First EP & First mods.

Hello all, i guess its time to introduce myself.

i bought an 02 SSM Civic SIR (Si in US) for cheap. Previous owner thought he needed a clutch replaced and sold it for cheap.

Towed it home, an hour later and $100 for an RSX Base pass axle it was back on the road. I also fixed the other two issues with the car. I resoldered the DRL relay board and replaced pass. door actuator.

basic maintenance was also done. spark plugs, valve adjustment, oil change.

G/f drives a base 05 RSX so i'm familiar with the K20A3.

I'm still driving my 01 Maxima so i have all the time for mods now. (i was gonna buy another car come spring time but the deal was too good to pass up)

I first made the shifter base and shifter cable bushings and that def tightened up the feel of the shifter, but it also emphasized the lateral free-play of the shifter due to the worn out plastic bushing. 20min later an aluminum bushing was installed...Now the shifter has at most 2mm play side to side at the shifter top point.

I'm also in the process of sound proofing the interiorand installing the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT deck. It already has a sub/amp installed.

future plans include either turbocharger or a K24A2 swap, coilovers and rims...its currently got a Megan catback and an AEM cold air. other than that its bone stock.

i thought the SiR's come with a2's?

Anywho, get K-pro, a Race header and a better exhaust. With a good tune it will be a much funner car.

Then Swap if you so desire. Either Way K-pro is a definite purchase in your future.

Canadian SIR and US Si are basically the same car. we have slight differences, negligible really.

K-Pro is def in the plan. i already picked up a spare PNF ecu to k-pro. For what ppl want their used Kpros for, i can have my ECU kprod and not have to go through the bother of worrying if its a fake, if it works etc etc.

No pics of the car as its sitting in the garage. Next set of mods i'll be starting is the FX-R or Mini projector retrofit.

Tottenham is south of Alliston, North of Bolton and right in the middle between Newmarket and Orangleville on Hwy 9.
