Ballast location

im curious as to where you put ur ballast, there are endless possiblities but which is the best. post pictures, discriptions, how you did it. i dnt like where mine is and trying to figure out a better spott

I ran my wiring up through between the fender and the inner fender and mounted the ballast in the space between the frame rail and fender. Theres about a 2 inch gap there, so i used some double sided tape, placed it down, nice clean installation. You don't see any of the wiring, the balast or anything.

This. Between the fender and the plastic fender liner on the inside of the bay is the best spot.

The 02-03s don't have the plastic pieces on either side, but the 04-05s do.

I wish I took pictures, but I mounted a slim-version of my ballasts (GReddy ones, in case you're wondering) onto the underside of my headlights with double-sided 3M tape. Held up for at least a year so far, and it's rated for 10+ lbs. per strip.

if anyone has a pic of this id like to see exactly wht it looks like. im sure i could figure it out after i tear the bumper off but id like to knw my game plan before hand.

im planning on running mine underneath my headlights...but i have a question....do i need slim ballasts or will standard ones fit??
