Really?? You must have a race header, because i believe the Evo2 is one of the quietest. Maybe a Sp2??

just so you know, it's pretty unlikely that a stock muffler is going to bolt up to the midpipe of your greddy exhaust

ApexI WS2. Not very loud, nice tone, and really nice sound when you giver the beans.

Agreed. I loved the WS2 when I had it.

If you are looking for soft exhaust, just take off your muffler and put straight pipe. Buy exhaust tip that u like for look. Trust me sounds perfect. never get pulled over. It may cost no more than 60. Using this for 5 months and love it.

If you want a sound clip of a WS2, I took this with my car like 2 years ago. I only had a Fujita SRI on it then, but still, has a nice low quiet tone to it.

Mugen twin loop.

I agree on the Mugen twinloop. I'm running that with the OBX race header. You hear the engine over the exhaust if that makes any sense. But the exhaust tone itself is deep, does not sound buzzy. However, aesthetically, I do prefer the appearance of the WS, and even the Tanabe Medallion touring something or other...Greddy Spectrum Elite, thats the one I was thinking.

Did you delete your resonator? The evo2 makes like no noise.. haha.
check to see if the resonator was cut off
And/or add a resonator.

I thought my magnaflow was too deep for my liking. It's low and rumbly at lower rpms

Also the drone annoyed the shit out of me

if u want a quiet one go with the stock one just add a bigger piping cheapest and best sound
i have an evo2 with resonator its still somewhat loud not as bad as others but my pipe got bent and had to replace most of middle of it and now its louder so i guess piping quality also helps
i am going to be doing this setup myself cause at times i like a little noise not alot but also like the type s exhaust sounds a little more aggresive stock style
