So i bought Racelands today but before i placed my order i called to confirm they take paypal and i also asked about any coupons or discounts they have....The guy didnt tell me anything per se...hint hint nudge nudge...but there are discount codes in certain magazines that can be used for purchase.

Also, Racelands are the exact same thing as Rokkor tuning coilovers which are already discounted by $20, and the shipping is exactly the same...

Proof that these Rokkor coils are in fact Racelands?

Also thanks for the heads up, I'm about to purchase a set.

Rokkor is just the same as raceland, with a little bit different of spring rate and different colors. I recall reading that someone before made payment through ebay for rokkor coilovers and it went to "racelandusa".

Interesting. So do we know if it's stiffer? Softer? I'm about to order a set and wouldn't mind saving $20, but not if it's all that much different.

Thanks.

Same front rate, stiffer rear rate, and $20 cheaper on the Rokkor, do it! Though I wouldn't be surprised if it actually weren't siffer at all.

Rokkor- 310 Front, 435 rear
Raceland- 310 Front, 417 rear

I would go back to stock suspension before ever going to racelands. You get what you pay for.

Does anyone know how/why Raceland is able to sell them so cheap? I'd love to get them, but they're so cheap, it scares me :decision:

same way a lot of companies do, they just copy someone else's design, cut back on R&D and quality control, and outsource to a cheaper factory than the other companies to produce them.

these coilovers most likely won't kill you or anything, but if you want quality just save up and get something in the $1000 range.

They're probably a lower quality rip off of a tein basic. I love my set of basics. Though I'll give a comparison when I get the RL on to test. Honestly, for the price, the raceland/rokkor cannot be beat.

im on racelands right now, the ride is not bad at all and ive owned alot of different types of suspensions for my older cars from ebay to tiens to cut springs. overall the ride is good not bouncy at all and im maxed out in the front and about an inch left in the rear. the only one bad thing i have to say about it is that it clunks every once in while but doesnt really affect me, you get use to it.
