View Full Version : Hatch light in the trunk. Where to wire?

If I wanted to wire lights that goes ON whenever the trunk is opened, where should I connect it? Same concept as that little trunk light to the right of the trunk whenever you opened it.

find the wire to the little trunk light and tap into that.

This. I added 2 LED strips in my trunk in the section that overhangs/holds the privacy cover in place and just tapped into the OEM wires, ran new wire up under the headliner for the opposite side.

Did you pop the OEM light (right side) out and vampire tap into it or is there another place?
