i just had a honda dealer tech do my valve adjustment and as he was going to do them he said that all my rockers bolts were loose. so he tigthen them to spec and did the valve adjustment but i still have a tapping sound and when i give it gas the tapping get louder..sounds like a rod knock sorta but up top..what else could be wrong? dont feel like spending anymore money on this car. give me some help guys thanks

I had a similar sound with my k20a3. Chased it forever. When I finally pulled the engine to do my swap, I tore that thing apart. Turned out a roller on the intake side was cracked and every time the cam lobe rolled over it, it created a tick sound.

Mine is loud at low rpm and speed and quiet a little up top with high speed..imma take apart the valve cover this weekend and see if the rollers r good
