... throttle cable haha anyone else have this happen? i did have the cable routed to stock way which put it very close to the exhaust housing, less than an inch, but i thought that the heat blanket would help, WHOOPS lol now the teflon liner in the cable melted and made the gas pedal feel like asshole/stick/creek lol im waiting for superchargedk20 to chime in and say he melted his clutch today haha 2 boosted ep's having problems on the nicest day of 2012 up here in the northeast

my cable has been melted for a while now too. i believe its routed the stock way as well, just the front is routed under the intake manifold. what are some other ideas on how to keep this problem from happening again?

I melted a brake line once. Apparently my dump tube was too close. And by too close I mean touching. It melted to it and then one day it decided to separate from it spewing brake fluid all over the place. Wouldn't have been too bad except it separated as I was coming to a stop at a red light. I plowed right through that light and mysteriously didn't hit anybody. lol

ha a kid up by me bought a revhard a3 with no dumptube, melted his harness after i told him to NOT beat on it until he has one, so now im trying to buy him a new harness in exchange for his HFP lip kit

i melted my passenger windshield wiper blade and the weather stripping on the passengerside windsheild/passenger window... as well as the pastic tray the wiper arms are covered by...

and ive melted my harness but that was an easy fix...
