Aftermarket struts with aftermarket springs?

I just got a set of Skunk2 springs, and I go to get them installed today and the guy tells me it'd be smarter and better for my car in the long run to get coilovers instead. Since I've already got the springs what should I do? Clubrsx has a pretty decent deal on koni struts right now but I wasn't sure what else I'd need to get everything else installed. Should I try to sell the springs or just get the struts? I'm still learning about my car so I'd rather spend the money doing it right than mess it up with just the springs.
