Welllll ive been turbo for about 4 months now and all is well! no problems yet besides a melted throttle cable, but now since im turbo its easier to crank the boost up than when i was jrsc, so i am! im getting a grimmspeed MBC and cranking it to 12-13psi and going to have it tuned conservatively, but before that im installing my newly acquired GReddy EVO TT exhaust with size matching downpipe, and were doing an intake pipe to intake air from more near the battery than the back of the turbo, im sure that will help with my IAT's a bunch. So what are you guys guessing number's wise?! on 9.5psi i was able to muster 297whp and 250tq

hate to say it, but I'm thinking 325ish and kaboom. You are really pushing the limits of those stock rods. I am pulling for you though

What turbo are you using in your current setup? Can't really speculate on how much power you would make at 12-13 psi because you don't make power on "how much psi" you make power on how much air (CFM) your turbo is forcing into your engine.

My GReddy T517Z at 9psi is not the same as using a Garrett GT30R at 9psi.

New thread. "Today I melted my motor". Why not upgrade some stuff before you turn it up? To be safe.

Man there are people that say what I have now is pushing it, then there are other people that are pushing the A3 farther and not having issues, I've seen 346 on 14psi and it still runs two years later, one guy on Honda tech made 386 but I'm sure that has bit the bullet by now

Back in the day when lots of people were doing what your thinking of doing there there were alot of blown up threads, all im going to ask is 30 more hp worth the risk of blowing your motor?

Back in the day, people didnt know how to tune like they do now either. If he has a competent tuner... i dont see why he cant up the boost a little more. Ignition advance is everything...

Haha i cant have u upstage me. U shoukd think about running ur meth for safety. You'll lose a few whp but its worth the extra safety. I sacrificed 5 whp . But when we race I'm turning it off Haha
